Aptoide Server is a web server that holds an Aptoide repository.
An Aptoide repository is an XML file (info.xml) describing the packages available together with their properties.
The XML file is generated automatically from applications stored in a directory through the execution of a script.
The Aptoide application connects to the Aptoide server, requests the XML file and renders the list of applications on the Android phone.
How does aptoide client work?
Aptoide client is an Android application that allows one to install software.
The installed software comes from multiple sources called "repositories". Each repository has multiple applications and are distributed over different locations.
Repositories contain the latest applications allowing you to control and be notified of updates.
